Full-time | $230,000–$260,000 per year | Torrance, CA | Outpatient Japanese Clinic
About the Position
A long-established, community-focused Japanese clinic in Torrance, California, is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician.
The clinic has provided high-quality primary care to the local community for many years. We welcome physicians who value patient-centered care and can provide thoughtful, attentive medical services to a diverse patient population.
Candidates may be board-certified in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient primary care for acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of general medical conditions
- Provide preventive care, health screenings, and routine physical examinations
- Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans
- Coordinate referrals to specialists when appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and administrative staff
- Perform related administrative and patient-care duties
No hospital rounds or on-call responsibilities. This is an outpatient-only position.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certification in either:
- Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), or
- Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
- Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), or
- Active and unrestricted California Medical License
- Valid DEA Certificate in good standing
- Professional proficiency in Japanese
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Authorization to work in the United States
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday
9:00 AM–5:00 PM (Clinic closes from 12pm - 2pm)
9:00 AM–5:00 PM (Clinic closes from 12pm - 2pm)
Compensation
$230,000–$260,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s professional background, clinical experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.
